The silver tureen has a round body with a flat bottom and a wide mouth. It sits on three legs shaped like animal paws. The legs are decorated with scrollwork. The body is decorated with engravings. There are two handles on either side, each featuring a curled design. The rim is adorned with a rope-like pattern. Tureen by Edward Wakelin.
