Winged Cup (Erbei) by unknown artist. The object is a small, two-part, black lacquered vessel. The top part is a lid that is shaped like a curved oval and has a pattern of gold foil designs on its top and sides. The designs on the lid are abstract and resemble scrollwork. The lower part is a bowl with similar gold foil designs on the exterior. The interior of both the lid and bowl are a light brown color. The bowl has a smooth, glossy finish and appears to be made of wood or another material covered in lacquer. The background of the image is a plain gray color. The vessel is displayed on a flat surface, casting a faint shadow. There are chips and damage to the edges of the lid and bowl.
