This vertical, rectangular painting depicts a landscape scene. The artwork's background is beige, with a darker brown border. The scene features a mountainous area with several trees and bushes. A building with a pointed roof is situated on top of a hill in the background, to the right. A tree with sparse blossoms is on the left side. A larger tree dominates the bottom center. Black Chinese calligraphy characters run vertically along the left edge, occupying about one-sixth of the image's width. The calligraphy and painting are rendered in black ink, with minimal use of red and blue.
