Base for Portrait of Phagmo Drupa Dorje Gyalpo (1110–1170)

Brass-colored metal object with a stepped rectangular base. The base features a flat bottom step with small relief figures on the sides. Above this, a larger rectangular section contains relief figures of humans and animals on the sides and three figures on the front. The top section consists of a row of ovular shapes. The object has a large circular depression on top with a decorative border featuring a leaf design and a beaded edge. Two curved handles are on either side of the top. The object has a weathered appearance. The background is gray and dark at the top.
