Long Shawl Fragment by an unknown artist. The image shows a rectangular piece of fabric with a floral pattern. The fabric has a cream-colored background. Two large, elongated ovals dominate the fabric, outlined in cream. The ovals are filled with a dense arrangement of flowers and leaves in shades of red, blue, and green. Smaller flowers and leaves are scattered throughout the ovals and the surrounding areas. A border of small flowers and leaves runs along the bottom edge of the fabric. The fabric appears to be worn and frayed, with some loose threads visible. The background behind the fabric is solid black.
