The Powder or Patch Box, created by Jean-Francois Oudry, is a round, ornate box with a flat top and a slightly curved side. The box has a gold-colored metal frame with a rope-like design around the edges. The top of the box is covered in brown material that resembles cork, and it is surrounded by a thin gold border. The sides of the box feature rectangular brown inlays, separated by gold strips. The box is placed on a light gray surface, and it casts a small shadow to the right.
