On the right side of the river, two women sit on the bank; one wears blue and the other orange and yellow. In the river, two women are partially submerged; one wears green and the other pink. A tree with yellow fruit and green leaves stands on the right bank. The sky is cloudy and dark with a streak of orange at the horizon. The painting has a gold border with a leaf pattern. On the back of the painting, a flowering marigold is depicted.
