Cleveland Museum of Art

The image depicts a black and white drawing of a large stone building with a steeply pitched roof. The building is made of stone bricks and has a light-colored facade. There are two sections to the building, one with a large roof and another section with a smaller roof. The right side of the building has two stories with a row of four windows on the second floor. The windows are tall and have multiple panes with decorative trim. There are two dormer windows on the top floor, each with an arched opening. The left side of the building has a smaller roof with a tall, thin spire. There are several windows on this side, some with decorative trim. A small doorway is visible between the two sections of the building. The foreground shows a dirt path leading up to the building, with some grass and flowers growing alongside it. The overall atmosphere suggests an old, historic structure, possibly a castle or chateau. The text at the bottom of the image reads "Chateau de Bernesq".
