Tamil Gateway (Gopura), Tamil Nadu: A sepia-toned stereoscopic photograph showing two nearly identical images side by side on a card. The images depict a large, tall, multi-tiered tower, a gopura, standing in front of a series of connected white buildings with tiled roofs and decorative elements. The gopura is intricately detailed with many layers of diminishing size, tapering to a point at the top, adorned with numerous statues and ornate carvings. The base of the tower appears wider with detailed carvings and structures. The foreground includes a low fence and some low-lying landscaping. The sky behind the tower is clear and light. The card has a rounded top edge.
