Octagonal, lid-shaped object with a star-shaped design centered on the flat, top surface. The star is formed by six radiating points, alternating with six octagonal sides. The top surface features a central floral pattern from which the star points emanate. The interior of the star points has a chevron pattern. Each chevron or point is outlined by a thin, dark band featuring floral and leafy elements. The star is decorated with silver in relief. The sides of the lid also display decorative patterns.
