Two-page spread from a medieval manuscript book. The pages are yellowed and aged with darker spots and discoloration around the edges. Text written in black ink fills most of both pages in a Gothic script. Some text in red ink. Decorative borders around the edges feature small flowers and leaves in red, blue, and brown. The borders also include thin blue, red, and white bands with circular designs. Large, ornate initials at the beginning of sections in red and blue ink with intricate designs. The pages are slightly worn and have a few holes. The image shows a bifolio, with the verso side presumably shown on the left and the recto side on the right.
