Leaf from a Buddhist Manuscript (verso)
Rectangular, aged, light brown, wooden manuscript leaf with uneven edges. The leaf is long and thin, roughly 2:1 ratio of length to width. Surface contains many horizontal lines of small, dark brown writing in a language that appears to be in an ancient script. Two circular holes are present, one on the left and one on the right side. Each hole is surrounded by a red circle. The background behind the leaf is a solid, light beige color. The image shows the back side, or verso, of the leaf. The artist and title of the piece are unknown.
