Border Tile

J. and J. G. Low Art Tile Works

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Rectangular tile with a black border around it. The tile is white with a repeating pattern of connected circles. Each circle is made up of two curved lines that loop around each other, forming a rounded shape with a teardrop-shaped hole in the middle. The circles are arranged in a row, with each one connected to the next. The surface of the tile appears cracked and worn. The pattern spans the entire length of the rectangular tile. The tile is bordered by black.
