Foot Scraper

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Black metal foot scraper by artist unknown. The scraper has two long rectangular legs made of dark metal with a slight curve and a flat rectangular base on the left leg. The two legs are connected at the top by an arched piece of metal. The right leg extends into an S-shaped piece with twisted grooved detail, curving to the right and ending in a curl. The background is a light-colored surface with shadows cast by the scraper.
