Bread Plate

White plate with a wide rim. The rim is decorated with a gold rope design around the edge and a gold rope design around the inner edge. The rim has a repeating pattern of small flowers in purple, pink, red, blue and green. The center of the plate has a shield with a black band across the middle and three white stars on the band. The shield is surrounded by leaves and flowers in pink, orange, yellow, red, blue and green. A brown bird perches on top of the shield. The plate has a gold rim. The plate "Bread Plate" is by the artist Chippendale.
