The Bread Plate by William Spode features a white plate with a wide rim. The rim has a gold border with a rope design on the inside edge. The plate's rim, on a white background, displays six floral motifs evenly spaced around the outer edge. The plate's center displays a crest with a shield on a stand below a bird, surrounded by a rope design border around the crest and stand. The shield on the crest features black with white floral designs. The crest also features pink, red, orange, blue, and green with a blue and pink top.
