The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The candlestick is made of dark-colored glass. It has a flat, hexagonal base. The base leads to a short, narrow, straight section. A series of three raised rings encircles the candlestick above the straight section. More rings are stacked on top, leading to a short, wide, flared section with a concave center. A short narrower section with raised rings encircles it. The top flares out into a short circular platform with a hole in the center. The background is gray. The object casts a shadow to the left.
