Black chair with curved back and four tapered legs. The backrest has a wide, curved top with a distinctive cutout in the middle. The curved top of the backrest extends down to form the arm rests, with a horizontal curved piece of wood underneath. The seat is upholstered in a dark fabric with a leaf pattern. The chair's legs are tapered and have a decorative molding near the bottom. The chair by Duncan Phyfe is angled slightly to the right.
