The armchair by Thomas Ash has a dark wood frame. The chair is angled slightly to the right. The backrest has a curved top with a carved floral design in the center. Two curved horizontal bars are below the top of the backrest; the top bar has an oval-shaped carved floral design in the center. The armrests curve outward and downward. The seat is upholstered in a woven fabric. The chair's four legs are tapered and straight, with decorative carvings on the front two legs. A curved stretcher connects the legs beneath the seat.
