The Side Chair by Samuel Dunlap is a wooden chair with a reddish-brown stain. The chair has a tall back with a curved top and two vertical posts on either side that are fluted. The top of the backrest features a carved shell design. Below the shell design is a carved vase shape with a white design in the middle. The seat is square and features a floral patterned fabric. The chair has four legs and a stretcher bar between the front and back legs. The front of the seat has a carved shell design. The background of the image is a plain white wall.
