Black and white image of a coffeepot by artist not specified. The coffeepot is made of dark metal, possibly silver or pewter, with a handle on the left side and a long curved spout on the right side. The body tapers from a wide base to a narrower top with a domed lid. The surface features an etched design on the upper half with a leaf and flower motif. The lower half has a band of eight-pointed star designs. The coffeepot sits on a flat surface against a plain background. Two small rulers are placed on the surface in front of the coffeepot, one horizontal and one vertical. A small label on the right reads "THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART 1954".
