Dark wood étagère with a backrest featuring a carved floral design at the top. The backrest has four thin vertical posts, two on each side, connected by a top and bottom horizontal bar. The side posts have ornate carvings. Two curved arms extend from the side posts with scroll-like designs. The étagère has a glossy surface and a curved front edge. Eight thin legs, four on each side, are turned and tapered. The front legs are straight; the back legs are angled inward. A curved apron connects the legs. The étagère by Julius Dessoir has a dark wood body.
