Hobbs, Brockunier and Company

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Hobnail Fruit Bowl by Hobbs, Brockunier and Company. The image shows a clear glass bowl with a wide mouth and a rounded body. The bowl has a lip around the top edge that is wavy in some areas and smooth in others. There are many small, raised bumps covering the exterior of the bowl. The bumps are spherical and arranged in rows that wrap around the bowl. The bowl has a row of small circular indentations around the interior just below the lip. The background is light gray with a darker gray shadow cast by the bowl on the surface below it. The bowl is sitting on a light-colored surface.
