Sconce

Mitchell, Vance & Co.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Two glass light globes are on top of a wall sconce. The glass globes are rounded at the top and narrower at the bottom. Etched diamond patterns are on the glass. Each globe sits on a short stem attached to a curved arm. The arms extend from a central piece that is attached to the wall. The central piece has a tall thin point on top. There are hanging decorative pieces below the central piece. The sconce and glass are made of a reflective metal and have ornate designs. The background is a wall with shadows.
