Hinge

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Two metal hinges, made of dark gray metal with a weathered appearance, featuring a heart-shaped cutout in the center of each. Each hinge has a curved piece at the top with two horn-like protrusions and a heart-shaped hole. Below this, a larger heart-shaped cutout is visible. The hinges have three curved prongs extending from the bottom, with small holes for screws. The hinges are symmetrical and appear to be made of a thick, heavy metal. The background is a light grey color. Hinge by artist unknown.
