The mug has two raised horizontal bands between the mouth and middle section. The handle is attached to the mug with a rivet at the top. The handle curves back and down, to a scroll at the bottom. The mug appears tarnished with many dark and light gray spots. The mug sits on a plain background, casting a shadow to the right. The mug was made by Frederick Bassett. The mug is titled "Mug".
