Pitcher

Fenton's Works

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

White ceramic pitcher with floral relief decorations. The pitcher has a spout on one side and a handle on the other. The handle resembles a branch which curls back on itself before attaching to the body. The body of the pitcher has a rounded lower half and two ridged sections on the upper half. The entire pitcher is covered in raised floral relief decorations. The background behind the pitcher fades from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. The pitcher casts a shadow to the left. The pitcher is by Fenton's Works.
