Spoon

John Letelier Sr.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image shows two metal spoons and a small piece of paper. The top spoon has a rounded bowl and a long handle that gets wider at the end. The spoon is lying on its back with the bowl to the left. The handle has a slight bend near the bowl and an engraving near the bowl. The engraving is indiscernible. The end of the handle has a rounded rectangular shape. The spoon below has a similar bowl shape but is smaller. The handle is engraved on the right side near the end with "WJB". The handle gets wider at the end similar to the spoon above. The bowl of the spoon is to the left and the handle to the right. There is a small white piece of paper at the bottom with writing on it. The writing appears to say "168.161". The background is a light surface. The image is in black and white. The title of the image is "Spoon by John Letelier Sr.".
