Teapot

John Rogers & Son

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The teapot is blue with a shiny glaze. The body of the teapot is bulbous, with a short curved spout on the left and a curved handle on the right. The lid is domed with a small finial on top. There are ornate scroll designs around the lid and body. The teapot appears to have a white material on the inside of the handle and possibly on the base. The background is gray with a shadow cast by the teapot. The artist is John Rogers & Son.
