Grueby Faience Company

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Green rectangular tile composed of three sections, depicting lily pads and flowers on a pond. The tile is divided into three equal parts by thin vertical lines. The background of the tile is dark green. There are several green lily pads of various sizes scattered across the tile. In the center of the tile are two white flowers with yellow centers. The flowers have multiple petals and appear to be floating on the surface of the water. The tile appears to be made of ceramic or pottery material and has a slightly raised surface. The tile is set against a plain gray background.
