The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Tongs by Isaac Hutton. Silver tongs with a decorative design on the outside of the arms and the gripping end. The tongs have a rounded gripping end with small holes. The arms are long and thin, with a ribbed texture, and have a rounded end with a slight lip. The tongs are lying on their side, with the gripping end on the left and the rounded ends on the right. The background is white, and there is a slight reflection of the tongs visible underneath them.
