Tumbler

Challinor, Taylor and Company

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Tumbler by Challinor, Taylor and Company. A glass tumbler with a wide mouth and straight sides that taper slightly inward. The tumbler has a faceted exterior with 12 flat sides, giving it a polygonal shape. The glass is predominantly dark purple with swirling patterns of blue, white, and pink. The colors are blended and streaked throughout the glass, with some areas appearing more opaque than others. The background is light gray with a shadow cast to the right.
