The top of the vase has a short, wide mouth with a wavy rim. There are two handles on either side of the vase, each a tube shape that curves out then back in. The vase has a relief design on the front depicting a man with a lion-like creature on his back. The man is leaning forward slightly. The background of the image is gray.
