The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Wine Glass by New England Glass Company is a clear glass goblet with a wide mouth and a narrow base. The bowl of the glass features a diamond-shaped etched pattern covering most of the surface, with four oval shapes containing circles. Above the etched section, a rim with a wavy edge and crisscrossing lines around its circumference. The stem is thin, faceted, and smooth, connecting to a circular base. The base of the glass shows red and white coloring. The background is gray and white, transitioning from dark at the top to light at the bottom.
