Each epaulet has four gold cords ending in a tassel. The epaulet on the right shoulder is partially obscured. The coat has a tan collar and lapel. There are six large, circular gold buttons on the lapel and one on the collar. He wears a white neck scarf and a white shirt. The background is dark green and transitions to a lighter greenish-gray behind the subject's head and shoulder on the right.
