Wine Rinser

Pellatt & Green

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Clear glass bowl with a wide mouth and a small lip on one side. The bowl has a wide base and a short stemless foot. A diamond-shaped pattern is cut into the lower portion of the bowl. Two horizontal grooves encircle the bowl: one above and one below the diamond pattern. The top of the bowl features a smooth rim with a slight lip on one side. The background is gray, with the object casting a faint shadow on the surface below. The Wine Rinser by Pellatt & Green.
