Arrowhead (<i>Yanone</i>)

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image shows a silver-colored metal weapon with a long, thin blade and three curved protrusions. The blade points straight up and tapers to a point; it is at least twice as long as the protrusions extending to either side and below. The protrusions on either side extend out at a slight upward angle, while the bottom protrusion extends directly downward. The three protrusions each have a similarly rounded shape with a slight indent on the bottom. The three protrusions together form a cross-like shape around a four-leaf clover-shaped hole in the center. A long thin handle extends straight down from the bottom center of the protrusions. The handle is mostly outside of the frame. The background is black. The top and bottom of the image are white. The weapon is titled "Arrowhead (Yanone)" by the artist.
