The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Metal object with a long thin handle, appearing to be made of steel or iron, and a wide, flat, Y-shaped head. The head has a distinctive shape, with two curved prongs that are symmetrical about the vertical axis. There is a cutout in the center of the head, which is shaped like an upside-down teardrop with a smaller upside-down teardrop cut out of its bottom. The metal has a weathered appearance with visible signs of aging or wear. The background is solid black. Title: Arrowhead (Yanone). Artist unknown.
