Partisan

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image shows a spear or pike with a long pointed metal head. The head has a sharp centre point with two flat, prong-like protrusions on either side that are curved back toward the shaft. There are 16 long curved protrusions extending from around the base of the head in a radiating pattern. The protrusions are shaped like flames or a sunburst. The shaft is mostly out of frame but appears to have a metal band and a brown section near the bottom. The background is a plain light gray color. Metal spear or pike titled Partisan by artist.
