Dagger

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image features a metal dagger titled "Dagger" by an unnamed artist. The dagger's handle is made of dark metal and features a curving design resembling a lion's head on top. Its mouth is open, and it appears to have a mane behind its head. The handle narrows towards the bottom and widens at the base where it meets the blade. Two small curved loops protrude from either side. The blade is long and thin, made of silver-toned metal with black spots scattered along its surface. Two long, thin grooves run down the center of the blade's flat side. The background is solid white.
