Matchlock Musket by artist unknown. The object is a long firearm with a wooden stock, a metal barrel, and a sword-like attachment underneath. The barrel is made of metal with a darker patina near the stock and lighter towards the end. There are several small holes on top of the barrel. A long, thin sword or bayonet is attached to the bottom of the gun. The sword has a pointed tip and two sharp edges. The stock is made of wood with a darker brown color and appears to be worn. A leather strap or sling is attached to the stock near the rear. The firearm and sword are positioned diagonally across the image. The background is a plain light gray color.
