Stirrup in early 14th Century Italian Style

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dark gray metal stirrup with a wide, curved top and a flat bottom. The stirrup has four legs that are connected by horizontal bars, forming a square base. Two additional bars connect the legs on each side, making a second square shape closer to the top. The metal appears weathered and worn. Gray background. Stirrup in early 14th Century Italian Style.
