Snaffle Bit
The Snaffle Bit by artist not specified, is a metal horse bit consisting of a single, straight bar with a ring at each end. The bit has two sets of two D-shaped loops on either side of the bar, positioned near the center and near the ends. The loops near the ends are attached to the bit and to the end rings.
