Knife with Sheath

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The knife has a curved, single-edged silver blade with a gold decorative inlay near the handle. The handle is made of light-colored stone or ivory, carved into a bulbous shape with four prongs at the top. A thin band with small green and red stones encircles the handle where it meets the blade. To the left of the knife is a matching curved sheath made of silver with engraved designs along its length. The sheath and knife, titled "Knife with Sheath", are presented against a plain white background, likely created by an artist.
