Dark brown wooden shield with a rough texture and visible wood grain. Two long, thin copper wires wrapped horizontally around the shield, one near the top and one near the bottom. The shield is split down the middle vertically. The top is pointed and the bottom has a slight V-shape. The background is plain white. Shield by artist Jasper Johns.
