Helmet by 16th century, Mughal period. A bronze helmet with a ridged base and a domed top featuring a leaf-like design cut out around the sides. The bronze is dark with areas of green patina. The top is pointed and features six outward-facing leaf designs with a decorative motif on the bottom half and straight ridges on top. These meet at the very top of the helmet. The base of the helmet features a ridged design. The leaf-like cutouts on the sides are symmetrical.
