

Ax of the Palstave Type
Green and brown patina copper alloy axehead with a flared blade and a rectangular socket. The socket is set at right angles to the blade and has a slight central rib on the exterior. The blade is curved with a rounded cutting edge. The patina is rough and uneven. The axehead is viewed from above.
