Dagger Pommel

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Small, beige-colored, two-part artifact with a rectangular base. The base has a visible crack down the center and a small round hole near the bottom. On top of the base, two human figures sit facing each other on thrones; both are wearing long head coverings and robes. The figures appear to be leaning towards each other, with their arms outstretched and hands clasped. The thrones have curved backs and flat seats. The background of the image is gray. Dagger Pommel, by an unknown artist.
