The sword guard, or Tsuba, by an unknown artist is square with rounded corners and slightly scalloped edges. The color is dark blue-black with a subtle sheen. A central cutout in the shape of a wide, elongated triangle. The decoration on the Tsuba includes gold and silver inlays. The inlays form floral motifs with leaves and stems. The leaves and stems are depicted in shades of gold, silver, and dark blue-black, similar to the base color of the Tsuba. There are also characters engraved on the left side. The background of the image is light gray.
