Pair of Sword-Grip Ornaments (Menuki) by Artist Unknown. Two metal ornaments in the shape of deer. The top ornament depicts a recumbent deer in brown metal with white spots; its head is raised and turned to the left. The bottom ornament depicts a recumbent stag in bronze-colored metal with golden antlers and white spots; the stag's head is turned to the right; its right front leg is extended. Both ornaments have a flat back. Gray background.
